To My Sweet and Innocent Surrogate Sister

If ever come a day, you move and live here
then surely my thoughts of you would never disappear.
If every come a day I reside in France,
My love and support for you would only advance.
I’d teach you of the world, and keep you close by
nobody could hurt you while under my eye.
When struck with grief, I’d be your crying shoulder.
You could lean on me even when you’re older.
I’d teach you about hate, hurt, and love.
The harsh words mean nothing, you can strive above.
Oh my sweet and innocent young sister Claire.
I will one day be the one who’s always there.
