what is love.
love is sweet,
for it can bring hope,
but also tears.
love is the sunshine peeking through the raindrops, the colors peaking through in a shimmering ark.
love is the brightest colored fruit in the grocery store stand, the sweetest too.
but love is also the blade you used for far too long, the scars being its permanent claim on you.
its the drug you cannot put down, for it has taken over your mind, body, and soul.
its the food you cant stop throwing up, striving to see those numbers go down.
love is the final thing that sends you to your grave.
for you see,
love kills, even in its purest form.
