I would live for you

but I can't say that 

I would die for you

That is meaningless

Living for someone 

means being willing to protect someone 

forever

dying is

a waste

don't say death is

the ultimite sacrifice

death is nothing less than

giving up

I won't be 

leaving you to fend for yourself

It wouldn't be

a good enough excuse

to leave

I don't need to

and I will never say

I want to die

This poem is really intriguing! It set off a ton of thoughts to me. It makes the reader consider the strength of both life and death, also the power of self-sacrifice. I believe you portrayed this very well! Don't stop! :)
