War & Death
War
deadly and cold
takes people away from the ones they love
unforgiving, eternal, cold, nothing
eternal rest for those we love
six feet under
Death
War is something that devastates your family
It can take someone from you
someone who was full of life
so quickly extinguished
gone in an instant
officer at the door
bad news waiting
you see them sad and shocked
they could never have been killed
they were a knight in armor
now they are a knight covered by the shroud of darkness
never to defend again.
