Girl Of Glass
Mirror girl was hard
and warped
a garbage compilation of
glints of shard—
She radiated magnificence
but when the light hit her angles it bounced
off reflecting into nowhere
Her divots and turns
Rejected it like
an unwanted compliment
She desperately needed the light
to penetrate deeper than
the surface so she
raised herself up
From her insides out,
the ground to the sky
and she created her own
Sun
And moon
And stars
until she no longer yearned
for the touch
of his light
On her skin
