I was inspired to write this piece by my observation of the intense yet fleeting infatuation that is ever-present in high school relationships and young love in general. It is, in essence, a commentary on how this blinding infatuation (or love,if you really dare to call it that) is so consuming in such impressionable minds yet only lasts but a second.
