You trapped me in those eyes.
Those beautiful green eyes.
They were filled with love,care, and so much more.
The way they brightened when you laughed
Or when you were happy.
They trapped me and filled me with happiness.
Green became my favorite eye color.
Except yours were special,
An open book filled with emotion.
Until they overcame with sadness.
All that happiness was gone,
I knew something was wrong.
The happiness disappeared.
And I understood why,
My boring brown eyes were swept with sadness.
In that moment I hated green eyes.
But a few years later after not seeing you
I saw the happiness again.
I fell in love all over again.
