Sitting in a beach chair
deep crystal blue water
the sound of the ocean
the crescent of the wave
gently collapses
one after another
sometimes destructive
a disaster
sometimes it
hisses
quiet
still
the sunset
the sand
between my toes
the delicate horizon
meets the ocean
