Ares and the Spear of Fear
I have been to battle many times.
Have pierced through skin and brain and spine.
Blood runs red and still I fly
Sent to end the life of every enemy of mine.
The trumpet sounds for everyone around
To let them know their loved one has gone down.
But still I shed not one tear.
Those men do not deserve to be here.
I fail when the clank on their metal sounds
During which the stench of failure roams all around.
But times like that are very rare.
I always hit on target, like a rabbit in a snare.
