riding the banana seat bike past the carnival lights
slow motion
the huey blue of evening sets in as my tan skin and gray sweatshirt
glow
blond wisps whip by
ocean air cooled by moonlight crashes against my body like the waves i hear at night
the surf and sand i play in all day
is shaded in by midnight
a reflection pool for stars and night-light
all seen from the banana seat bike
slow motion
rolling hills from short to long
neon lights down the boulevard
flashing ice cream cones and the mint green motel
the low riders esplanade
all seen from the banana seat bike
slow motion
