Who's Your Guardian Angel?

Darkness engulfed the room
As they said "goodnight"
I laid there scared part to death
As the lightning reaveled
The bare forbidding tree
Then in a slpit-second
The little taps of rain
On the window and
The door clambered
Open and then
A heartwarming noise
The purr and a meow
So I said "Hi Gonzo"
And all the anxiety soared
Away like a flock flamingos
All because of
Gonzo the Guardian Angel
Who always was there
