Moment
For a moment the world should stop.
We stop the "he/she likes me, likes me not" game.
We stop obsessing over the latest Tweet or Snapchat.
We stop stresssing over that boy/girl we're on and off with.
We stop the distasteful remarks we throw.
We stop the endless pileups on our schedule.
We stop chasing people we hope to be with.
We stop clinging onto our phones for dear life.
And for a moment, the world should stop.
Just a brief moment would do.
To enjoy the flowers and maybe smell them.
To realize the people who actually want to be with you.
To speak to those people with the gift of our voices.
To enjoy that cool breeze wafting through the seams of our clothes.
To decide what we really love to do in life.
To savor the moments of now, because it won't ever be the same.
To reflect upon the past, and not worry about what's next.
And for a moment, the world should stop.

It's all I hear, and all I live in. Sometimes I wish we'd all take a moment for once.
