Remember when. . .
Remember when. . .
The only “high” we felt was dad’s shoulder,
The only “cold” we felt was when the days got colder?
We would “yell” to get our way,
Now we just yell for people to stay.
War was just a game,
Now we even fight through the fame.
Hate the pain,
Thoughts go insane,
Society is to blame.
People cut, and bleed the pain,
Wet eyes,
Crying like we’re in the pouring rain.
We wipe our tears saying, “I’m fine”,
Love needs to be taught, redefined.
Teachers need to keep an open mind,
Depressed kids,
Calling it mankind.
