The Day Dreamers

We try to keep dreaming in infinite space
Though reality soon takes us away
When living in a world with no retrace
We find a solution for our dismay

An escape within the walls of one's mind
We create adventures, our own design
Insoluble patterns stay undefined
Lunacy and creativity entwine

We dream only to become awakened
In a state of fearlessness we live on
Our great spirits are twisted and strengthened
For the  following days we walk upon

This short-lived liberation swept away
But day dreamers are always here to stay
