Save Me the Hidden Heaven
The world just hides
They fill young girls heads
Saying popular and vain and mean
All but the same
And well sometimes true
Only reaching out brings to you
Friends
Oh God help those,
Them like me, who spend childhood locked away to
“Protect their future”
Only then to learn their friends haven’t waited
Save them though middle school years
On top of the status quo
Have them find themselves only bordering “Normal”
So they stand out and fit in
Save them their own human connection
Human connections
To Fuel their Futures
