Find Your Bliss and Follow It

I have had some bad experiences
and some good experiences.
I want to let you know
that I have pushed through the tough times,
and I am better and more mentally prepared
because of all of the bad times.
I got bullied
because of my hair color
or my eye shape
or because sometimes I shop at the thrift store,
but you know we shouldn’t judge based on what one wears
or what one looks like.
That's not right.
I also have had some family issues.
My biological mom is abusive;
she was doing drugs while pregnant with all four of her kids,
and she only dates guys for their money.
I have still pushed through.
I am in THREE pre-ap classes.
If someone is telling you you can't,
you push through and make the best out of the worst.
I have followed my bliss,
And there was a door where there was a brick wall.
