No One Ever Told Me

By , Oak Park, MI

No one ever told me
How much like would change
How growing older made happiness seem ever out of range
No one ever told me
Getting a sibling would change everything
Sometimes it feels like losing a wing
No one ever told me
How fast life goes by
How you only have so long before you say your goodbyes
No one ever told me
About thea ache of heat brake
How the pain is so bad that you tremble and shake
No one ever told me
About the limit of the human heart
How you and someone you love can’t stay long apart
No one ever told me
How unexpected love can be
How that special feeling can was you over like the sea
No one ever told me
How many hardships I would face
Trying to rush through them, going face in pace
No one ever told me
What kind of man I’d grow to become
But I know the
last thing I’ll be is a bum
No one ever told
How I should live my life
Although my plan is to have a 2 kids and a wife
No one ever told me
When I’ll leave Earth
When my times comes I’ll relive my memories since birth
