The Baseball
It starts in the pitcher’s glove
Then, with a quick toss it’s in the catcher’s
Throughout the 9 innings it goes back and forth
Sometimes it goes to the third basemen
Sometimes it goes to the first
Sometimes it goes to the right fielder
Sometimes it goes to the left
And on the rarest instances
It even goes to the glove of a small fan
Caught in a moment of triumph
The amount of cheers and boos are dictated by the placement of this ball
The uproars that are caused when it goes over the wall
Or the cries and boos if it ends in the catcher’s glove
The ball controls the crowd
