Have you ever listened quiet upon a hill?

At the end of a hard day's work.

When the golden sun has lain to rest on white balls.

Was set in a haze of green?

Have you ever listened quiet upon a hill?

When the world was dark and blue.

When the ringing bells of cows and sheep.

was the only sound to be heard.

And the grim notes of a deadly coyote.

Whose hunt call rose clear in night.

Recieved a call from an owl.

The sound of coyotes draw nearer upon your hill.

Quietly you stay upon a hillas the coyotes near.

So the fear is no more.

Upon a lonely quiet hill.
