Memory Poem
A black circle, a hockey puck
brings me really good luck
Think about it everyday
A hockey game that was in may
Played my best
Skates on, all laced up
wish one day to hold the Stanley Cup
stepped on the ice real nice
My helmet sure does not have lice
Hit crossbar, like a bell ringing for class.
No penalties all game
Our team was not lame
Extended lead, played great
The game was over
Check mate.
Entered the locker room
Our cheers made a loud boom
Game puck goes to me
I felt a sudden joy
I was a happy boy.
