A Frozen Winter
Dusk emerging from
The setting sun
Shadows like children,
Playing around our heads
The cold biting our noses.
Snow glistening
On the ground,
Crunching beneath
Our feet.
We’re dance, dance, dancing.
Branches broken off trees
And dragged through
The snow in
Patterns that
We can’t remember.
Smiles frozen
On our lips
And giggles
Slipping off of our tongues.
We’re dance, dance, dancing.
