He saw the moonlight in her eyes
He saw the sunrise in her smile
He saw the world in her glance
He spoke to her
He listened to her
He was left silent
He was left ignored
He felt the thorns the rose couldn't hide
He felt the moonlight fade away
He felt the sunrise fall into the sunset
He felt the world crumble
