I'm from the sun, sweat, and sand—
— that covered the grounds of my castle
From the Hills that seemed like mountains.
I'm from the fire that tried to consume me,
From the plague that nearly smited me.
I’m from the plane ride that i got off of.
I’m from the Four square arena, where champions are found.
From the field fairies homeland where the goals seemed
From the “Put your jacket on it's not 50 degrees yet!”
I’m from the unrelenting Pink Floyd followed by Led Zeppelin.
From the sounds of family laughter and Bocce Balls clinking.
From the endless childhood stories my mother loves to tell.
I’m from the joystick skills that turned into bragging rights.
From the “Hey don't look at my screen!” to the
“It doesn't matter i’m still gonna win.”-- I did.
I’m from October 7th, 2006,
From the first “hello” and “how are you”
From the endless Futurama and fishing.
I am from the sun, sweat, and sand-
- that covered the grounds of my castle,
From the Mountains that now seem like hills.
