My family is a bike
Always getting us around
My stepdad is the handlebar
Steering us around
Trying to get us in shape.
My brother is the pedal
As fast as a rabbit
Trying to teach me
The teenage ways
My sister is the seat
As rough as a storm
Always mad.
My gram and
Pap are the
Brakes always
Keeping me happy
My aunt’s and uncles
And my cousins are the
Frame always keeping us
Together.
Me I’m the chain
Always getting tossed
Around like a
Old rusty bike chain
