"There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you." - Maya Angelou

From Iraq to Syria

from Dubai to Tel Aviv
let justice flow
and bring Peace, Freedom, and Harmony

Let us not put up in arms
for the courageous show
but let us stop the chaos
and let love flow

Let us accommodate the sick
helpless and poor
let us advocate for them
for the lessening of hatred and war

Let us not have a predisposition
to Muslim and Jews
and not look at the world from a hated view

Understanding is key
it is what we need
understanding can make the world turn from
a storm, into a breeze

The storm of hatred around the world
chaos and destruction
blows too fast, into a deadly swirl

A breeze is a simple change
acceptance, understanding can be the change

The changes in life that's all it is
let the movement march on loud
while the people in the back stand tall and proud

I made this in a Martin Luther King Jr. Poetry contest. It answers a prompt along te lines of what can we do to make tomorrow better.

This was a really great poem! The description is vivid, and it warmed my heart :)
