Loving you was easy,
but not easy enough for you to see.
Seeing your face.
Smiling at the thought of your laugh.
Our deep conversations echo my heart.
Like a canyon, miles deep.
Maybe one day you will look at me
And realize,
the look you always shared with me
was love.
