I Have to Get Up Early But...

I'm staring at my phone and saying
"Message me back, Stupid, before I fall asleep without you"...
As if we fall asleep with each other
Maybe we do and we dream under the same blanket
And use the same foggy pillow
Or maybe the only thing we share
Is the moon
Who doesn't care who shares her
Or Slee
Who doesn't care who falls for him
Maybe the only connections we have
Are the same ones that connect us to total strangers
But I don't want that to be true.
