Hold me tight
because I feel like I’m
falling apart.
Smile bright
because tears are threatening
my eyes.
Grap my hips
because I’m about to turn
and run.
Kiss my lips
because a sob is about to
escape them.
Talk to me
and say those words I need
to hear.
Let me see
that my home is
in you.
Make me know
that you won’t ever
leave me.
Don’t let me go
because your home is
in me too.
