Millennium
I live in the technology age
Where we are brought closer yet farther away
From the bonds that make us human
Why have friends?
We have online supporters
Why have must I have schooling?
Is that not what Google is for?
You can like and poke people on the web
But why not like and poke people in life?
Does that even make sense?
Someday the nations will unplug the World and save the people
But will we really be saved?
Or be like a collapsed house
Lonely and desolate
For we have no knowledge of our own to count on
When the world dies
