Lately
I've been getting aches and pains
The right side of my neck
My left shoulder
Maybe they're the accumulated consequences / burdens of
Months of
Non-stop action
Trying to finish everything before the hourglass turns

It's funny how we think time can be counted
Packaged neatly in discrete quantities and units of measurement
Tick, tock, tick, tock
Marching rhythmically in circles
When really it's just
Sand
Falling away in a steady stream
Getting (lost) everywhere

Favorite Quote:
"In Hamilton, Burr spends years waiting for a chair to be offered at the table in 'the room where it happens.' Patience and timing will play a part in your ultimate success for sure. But I found the happiness and consistency I wanted for so long at the exact moment I decided to build my own table and my own chairs." ~ Leslie Odom Jr.

You put it into words! I've never encountered a better analysis of man-made conceptions of time, simply incredible.
