They say drowning is the most peaceful way to die
Except for the ones grieving
Because goodbye
Isn't what you always get to say?
And closure isn't always something that you get

When my brothers friend passed away after drowning, the grief and heartache filled my house and it affected me although I had never even met the young man who passed. That loss inspired this poem. Although it's short it expresses my feelings.
