You cut me
and rubies tumbled out of my wrists.
You choked me
and arias rang out from my throat.
You tried to hide me, in the dark
and I glowed.
I am too powerful for you.
Your ugliness can not stain me.
I will make satin of your sins.
Create warmth from your wrongs.
You can not see
that I am more.
I am the sun,
and we are an eclipse because eventually you shall pass
And I will still be here.
Shining.
