Schools try to cover up us girls
They try to make sure we don’t wear anything too adventurous
If you don’t accommodate to these rules you are punished
And all forms of punishment is embarrassing
Wow embarrassing us girls really does teach us a lesson
Why don’t you just put us in “girl only” schools
I think that might solve this problem you are creating
I know my education seems less relevant than boys
When it comes to the clothes I wear
I hope the Feminine movement affects you in someway
Realizing that we aren’t asking for a lot
All we want is our freedom to wear what we want
I am an extremely tall girl
So sorry I don’t fit your short girl standards
And that my shorts aren’t as long as my fingertips
I am not going to cover myself up like I’m an old grandma
I mean if you want us to cover up that much why don't we wear an Abaya
It would cover us head to toe
Isn’t that what you want?
You have to stop trying to cram us in these small social boxes you have
We have outgrown them so why don’t you go and get a new box
A new box that can fit us all
No matter what hair color we have
No matter what piercings may be on our body
No matter what clothing we decide to put on our body
Please, just let me get my education
