Mother and Daughter
Mom, you are my mother,
I, am your child,
You are like the sun to me,
As I, am like the bright light that makes your day.
Mom, you love me without reason,
You, show me how devoted you are,
You, have taught me so many things,
Mom, you like so many things,
You, like pink and purple flowers,
You, like spending time with family,
But, most of all you like spending time with me.
Mom, thank you for everything you have done,
By putting my favorite meal of stuffed pasta shells on the dinner table,
Thank you for being my rock and best friends,
And thank you for just being my mom.
