What is Religion?
That seems to be the world's biggest question
It's like all beliefs come with people and violence
And who don't know it or appreciate it get silenced
I thought the purpose of religion was to give people something to believe in
Guess I was wrong
Because the bombings, massacres, and killings didn't take very long
What is Religion?
People say as their loved ones are being taking away
What happened to the idea that any beliefs had a place?
Cause it seems like it disappeared without a trace
Why does it matter that people have different beliefs?
We all at the end of the day want peace and harmony
And that's not a bad thing
Because religion isn't something that tears people apart
It's something that holds people together
Especially when they need it the most
Today in the world, it seems like everyone is on edge and it's like one chaotic event after another and it seems like there's no hope for peace. So I wrote this to help keep perspective and to maybe try and process what exactly is happening.
