Heartbreak

You used to talk all the time,
then one day you turned into a mime.
He broke you into so many parts,
as if he never cared about your heart.
But still you wish upon the moon,
hoping that he might come back soon.
Young girl i can promise you that,
never again will he suck the life out of you like a bat.
Just be cautious the next time around,
for pain once lost can always be found.
So in the future if a boy looks at you and drools,
make sure that he treats you like a jewel.

Last year i got my heart broken for the first time and it was honestly the worst pain that i've ever felt, and what i'm hoping that people will take away from this is that if you get your heart broken it's going to hurt a lot at first but that just means that it wasn't meant to be. Then after you've healed from it just wait and be patient and someone will come into your life that makes you happy again.
