When the snow melts away

And it’s rainy and grey

Birds begin to chirp, and say hooray!

The trees start growing tender green buds

While the Earth is slowly turning into mud!

No more mittens, no more boots,

No more bulky snow suits

Flowers begin blooming from place to place

While its perfume glows, and fills the space

Windy days come and go,

While rainy days fill the show!

Kids are happy, for spring break, of course

While farmers are hassled, with more work, perforce

Bees begin buzzing all across the sky,

And that is the end of how spring goes by!
