I drink the poison of life

And wait for it to engulf me

For it to spread through my veins

I drink it willingly, knowingly

For instead of breathing the deadly air of life,

I rather drink it instead

To taste the copper on my lips and feel it going through myveins

And no longer have to take these stinging breaths of shame

I drink the poison of life

Straight, forward, and fast

The only way I am willing to die is

Drinking the poison of life
