Cloudburst
It was silent that morning
when the pitter patter of the rain
quietly hit the windows
and made the street begin to glisten.
and it's strange to think
something so beautiful
could ruin something so important,
but that's how people were, right?
The prettiest ones are the ones
with the power to break your heart.

Maybe this poem will make you think of someone, and maybe it won't. Maybe we have similar stories, and maybe we don't. However, I hope the prettiest person you know doesn't break you like mine did.
