you creep into my mind like a lost memory, introducing the pain to me once again.
the shattered thoughts cut me like knives. the blades scar my skin
as I try to escape from your chains.
your powers bring resistance,
returning me to your cage of hatred
and I discover that
pulling away from your force
causes a challenge for me.
a challenge that is nearly impossible.
