Ambitious Dreaming
The nights of slumber bring her great thoughts
of dreaming of following a dream that she had.
Each night she would fall and each morning she would wake
thinking of following that path she did take.
She experienced experiences in the times of her sleep
some that she thought would never occur.
This made her wonder if when she fell,
it would soon always be a blur.
The influences of her times deep under were wondered.
Should this motivate her to take a chance of romance,
success, and freedom?
But what if this she wasn’t she...
if she was wrong, if she was only dreaming.
What if on these nights, it was only the devil scheming?
To take a leap and fall in reality, created a drastic change in mentality.
She hoped and prayed, that the events were signs
and being lost, then found was near down the road.
She wanted to relive it, and actually live it.
Were these allusions delusions? or a push to light?
Optimism may soon break her free,
but for now, it is only dreaming that will be.

Simply the questioning of the dreams we have when we sleep and the meaning of them. Do we pursue the ones we admire or do we leave them behind becuase they were only a dream?
