If Clouds Could See
If Clouds Could See, would they be filled with joy
Watching every mom, dad, girl, and boy
Play and love like they have known each other forever
Celebrating birthdays and graduations never to sever
If Clouds Could See, would they be frightened
Watching man by man being tortured
Small pieces of metal and lead flying by
Putting thousands of lives to an end
That would later be honored
If Clouds Could See would they become depressed
Watching the filters of the atmosphere die
Or the homeless crawlers and birds that fly
If Clouds Could See would they gag
Chocking on the toxic gasses, as through the air it all passes,
To the lands and in the lungs of the trees
That which would soon make the poor clouds wheeze
If Clouds Could See would they roar
Watching the rivers and fields bathing in the water they pour
Where humans just use their houses as shields
Rarely enjoying what the rain reveals
If Clouds Could See
But we know that cannot be
So since Clouds are blind
We must keep in mind
That we are human beings
Trees are trees and bees are bees
Rain is our shower
The environment is our power
So the next time you go outside
Think of who is watching
And remember to be kind

The clouds are God watching over us in different parts of the world. One day I was riding over one of our toll bidges and I noticed the clouds looked like eyes. Then, it hit me! What if Clouds could see! It just all came together after church that day.
