I wrote a poem
And my heart was laid bare
On the forest floor
Among the
Rotting
Living
Dying
Spreading
Life of green disease
And clouds of sunlight pollen
I breathed in the
Sickness and smoke
And bled my roots
Into the poem
Until my veins
Seeped into leaves
And I died as a plant
