You Are
You are light:
The emulation of sunrays,
Sunlight spilling into a dark room,
Headlights on a dim road,
Optimistic as a rainbow after a
Terrible storm.
And I,
Am everything but.
I am likened to a
Storm cloud,
A torrential downpour
Of emotions
And sorrow
And pain
And you are as
Bright as can be
A single ray of sunshine
In the midst of all the madness.
