When I had a son
He was one and to him all my time had gone
He was two and my name he already knew
He was three and climbed up the cutest tree
He was four and he spoke no more
He was five and he battered down a hive
He was six and at the neighbours cat he threw sticks
He was seven and he sent our puppy to heaven
He was eight and he started losing weight
He was nine and he started to drink secret wine
He was ten he had an imaginary friend named ben
He was 11 and and another puppy in heaven
He was thirty eight and he believed it was fait
Blood on his hands and he didn't understand
Knife in a young woman's heart and his mind was falling apart
I was his mother but he still kills another
I tried to tell him it was wrong but he had be silent for too long Billy told him a plan and he became an evil man
Now weirdoes send him fan mail as he sits in jail
And I used to have a son but now I have none
