Peaceful
I knew what would happen
But part of me did not
Want to believe it
So I chose to do it anyways
So peaceful it was like driving through a tunnel
Knowing as soon as I got through
The rain will hit the windows
Hearing the noise
Of fast steady drops
Hitting the windows
Getting louder the faster
The rain pours
But in those few seconds
Of pure silence
All I can think of
Is the sound of the rain
That soon will be heard again
I knew the rain was still going
To our after I got through the tunnel
But driving through was so peaceful
Maybe you were my tunnel
And I was the car
Driving through
For the peacefulness
