I am a Star

A little girl and her beloved father…
sit around a blazing fire.
It’s hard not to look...
at the bright stars.
They’re bursting out of their shells…
when the sky darkens.
She is the star that’s the
Sleeper in the day…
Awake in the night.
Millions of brothers and sisters…
Surrounding her.
She’s a daughter to the moon and the sun.
But she’s the brightest star in her father’s eyes.
She’s shy but bright in her own individual way.
And then the little girl…
bursts out of her shell.
When she’s with her father.
