Remain
My body has melted into 60 sections,
one being ticked off with every passing second,
and minute,
and hour,
and day until it all becomes one big blur of waiting.
Waiting for love.
Waiting for light.
Waiting for life to happen.
Meaningless minutes turning into eternities of waiting for anything magnificent to occur,
so all the time wasted on blank looks and pointless small talk wasn't for nothing.
Waiting to meet something who makes the time stop in it's tracks
and the waiting to cease,
because what has been taking so long to arrive, has come.
Love has been felt,
light has been seen,
life has happened.
And all the time that was spent on waiting is simply lost as something that once was.
