Waves of You
Missing you comes in waves,
But they’re not little waves.
They’re the big ones,
Crashing down,
Pouring into another big wave,
That’ll shortly crash down.
It’s a repetitive cycle,
Like the waves crashing
Making another one to crash,
I miss you more and more
And each night
And each day
And each damn moment
That I think of you,
Will soon crash
And start to form the next wave
That’ll crash.
They’re all waves of you.
Thoughts of you
Of us,
Of our forever..
And some nights the waves
They’re so strong,
They pull me up
And crash me down
Tossing me around
As I slowly lose oxygen
In the thought
And the waves
Of you.

I went through a rough patch this past summer, when I met this guy and fell in love and had a miscarriage with his baby after he had left me weeks in advance.
