What is love?
Love is something everyone experiences more than once in their life.
Losing your first love is an experience in itself.
Days pass and you can still fell the way it felt wrapped in his arms so tightly.
Weeks pass and you still smell the aroma of his favorite cologne.
Months pass and you start getting the flashbacks of everything that you went through with him.
Years pass and you begin to forget…
You start forgetting how he sounded, how he looked, how he felt,
It begins to break your heart because all you remember is the feeling of love associated with the thought of him.
This kind of love is the type that goes from 0 to 200 miles an hour and then hits a wall and crashes.
It’s the type of youthful love you think lasts forever when it only lasts a year.
It’s the love that you can taste; it’s sweet and bitter at the same time.
It’s the love you can smell; it’s like fresh picked flowers in the center of your kitchen table.
The love you can feel; it’s so tight and exhilarating you can barely breathe.
It’s the love that you can see; its stars aligning without proof.
It’s the love that ends without warning.
It’s the love that is bright and scorching.
Love that is scarlet.
